The sites were awe inspiring, but the altitude was difficult to handle for the first few days for swamp people like us. As it was summer the snow was scarce, but as you’ll see that didn’t stop some locals from finding a place to ski and snowboard.

One of the most interesting annual events is the ordination ceremony at Holy Name of Jesus Church on St. Charles (my parents got married there!) where seminarians take the final step to becoming priests.
